There are women's cricket teams around the world, mostly in countries where men's cricket is also popular. In England there is a regional cricket league similar to men's county cricket but are usually limited to T20 and T50 (ODI) fixtures. The teams are:
There is no international Test championship for women's cricket but there are a few one-off test matches. Most games are ODI (One Day International) games among Australia, Bangladesh, England, India, Ireland, New Zealand, Pakistan, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies.
They have some of the top players in women's cricket. Sophie Ecclestone (who plays for Lancashire (North West) Thunder) is rated the best women's bowler in the world in both T20 and ODI. Of the top 5 ranked women's bowlers in the world, England has three in T20 (Ecclestone, Sarah Glenn and Charlie Dean) and two in ODI (Ecclestone and Kate Cross). Nat Sciver-Brunt (who plays for the Northern Diamonds) is rated the best women's batter in ODI in the world.
